Visiting the studio

My studio is in the picturesque village of Brampton Bryan. It is balanced on the borders of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Powys. The village postcode is SY70DH.

I am in the old blacksmiths (the forge), which is right next door to Forge Hair, on the crossroads, with the main Knighton - Leintwadine road and the Lingen - Coxall road. I look out at the spectacular yew hedge and over towards the Church. 

There is shared parking outside the studio and the hairdressers next door, or parking space by the church or if you are visiting Aardvark Books they have a good car park too.

I'm afraid I don't keep set opening hours - it just isn't busy enough here for me to promise to be here at all hours. However, if the lights are on, visitors are welcome!

If I'm running a workshop I pop a sign on the door to say so - the space isn't really big enough for shop browsers and workshop goers so it closes while these are in progress. 

We are doing an open studios event on the first Saturday of the month from 10-1pm, where I and others aim to all be open at the same time! In December this is the first weekend of the month and open 10-4 on both days. 

If you are planning on making a trip to visit, do get in touch beforehand to make sure I'll be here and not away at a market / the post office/ sketching in the hills!
