  • Brampton Bryan Christmas Open Studios 2023!

We are once again opening our studios for the first weekend in December for the Brampton Bryan Christmas Open Studios!

This year there will be a trail of 5 studios plus the wonderful Aardvark Books open over that weekend.

10am-4pm and the village postcode is SY70DH.

  • Christmas Open Studios - save the date!

Just a quick one to say ‘save the date!’

Our Christmas Open Studios trail will be on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th December 2022 from 10am-3pm.

Aardvark books will be holding their Christmas Fair on the Sunday too so well worth coming to visit the village!

There are many artists in the village of Brampton Bryan, but most work quietly behind closed doors. This is an opportunity to visit the studios and do a bit of Christmas shopping. We’ll be making some flyers soon to tell you all about those involved.

  • Holly and Ivy Christmas paperchains

For this month's free botanical colouring in sheet that I share with my newsletter readers, I thought we'd go for something festive. It's a bit more crafty than the usual botanical colouring in sheets and so I thought I'd share it here, as I did with last year's.
  • A Christmas card from me to you

I thought I'd write you a little hello this Christmas. I'd love to hand write everyone a card but that just isn't practical. Here is a means to do it another way - I've hand written a Christmas card and filmed it as I went. Here you can watch the YouTube video or read the text via images or in the text in this blog post. Happy Christmas from Alice Draws the Line.
  • Orange slice decorations with a difference!

For the December 2020 newsletter I decided to create a slightly different colouring in sheet. Usually the colouring in sheets are all botanical and made with the idea of anyone being able to colour them in, as they wish, and hopefully enjoying some calm, mindful time while doing so. For this one, I thought it would be nice to do something festive and so I've drawn orange slices that you can download and make at home.
