Workshops with Alice Draws the Line
I’m thrilled to be able to be running workshops again. At present the below procedures are taking place to keep you and me safe.
Before the workshop
If you feel unwell ahead of the workshop or have any symptoms, please let Alice know and we will arrange a new date.
I will take a rapid lateral flow home test on the morning of the workshop (early) and should it be positive let you know immediately that the workshop won’t go ahead on that day.
The Workshop
The studio is set up specifically for a workshop and so will be done the evening before for a morning workshop or in the morning if the workshop is taking place in the afternoon or evening. The tables are cleaned after every workshop and stored away. Brown paper is used as a table cloth which is disposed of after the workshop and the tables cleaned.
There is antibacterial gel at the door and participants will be asked to use it on arrival. There is also a sink and a fresh towel ready for the workshop.
There is a toilet and there is antibacterial gel in there too as well as a sink, soap and paper towels.
Each participant has their own kit to use and Alice has her own set to demonstrate with - there is no need to share kit.
At present only two participants are able to do a workshop due to spacing. If they are not in the same bubble or have not travelled together they will be seated more than 1m apart. If participants are in a bubble together and have driven to the workshop together and are happy to, they can sit closer together. Alice will sit 1m+ away, but close enough to demonstrate the techniques.
The studio is a draughty old building and so ventilated, but the window can also be opened.
When workshops are in place there will be a sign to say no visitors are permitted during the time of the workshop.
Refreshments will be available if participants wish or they can bring their own.
If all participants are happy to, when seated they can remove face masks if they wish.
