More Mice Pies šš„§
At the end of last year I drew three mice. Imagining that they slept in a mince pie each. I based them on my nieces and nephews and how they behave when Iām babysitting them. One wide eyed and full of ideas, another the master of relaxing and the third curled up ready for magical stories to be read.
These three also became wooden Christmas decorations - threaded with red ribbon. They are available again this year as well as the cards.Ā
This year, I thought it might be nice to keep imagining these mice and their friends - all with their own Mince Pie bed to snuggle down in. I have been thinking about what else these mice might be doing.
I have put the whole nest of them (yes! Iāve just looked it up!- the collective noun for mice is a nest - how glorious!) onto an unbleached organic cotton tea towel.Ā
We have a mouse eating a chocolate biscuit under the cover, one reading in bed, another writing/ journalling, jumping on the bed, fast asleep sprawled out with the duvet falling off, a mouse scrambling back into bed, an empty pie⦠and a two mice drinking hot chocolate and nattering together.
You can find this design along with others on my website under the shop and tea towel tab or you can go straight to this one here.
