Shipping Forecast

I really enjoy the words and phrases of the Shipping Forecast, or ‘The Ships’ as it is sometimes affectionately referred to as. It is the iconic weather report heard on Radio 4 about the waters around the UK. 

I have used it as inspiration for a body of work and an exhibition titled ‘Moderate or Good - a celebration of the words and phrases of the Shipping Forecast’ and you can find work related to that here.
