What if a mince pie was a bed for a mouse?!
This all evolved from a typo- I was writing Mince Pie and missed the n from Mince and ended up inviting people to an event where I’d said I’d be serving Mice Pies!
After initial embarrassment I wondered what a mouse in a mince pie might look and behave like. I thought about them being little warm beds for the mice. I wondered how they would sleep - initially thinking of my nieces and nephews and how they behave when I babysit!
This tea towel is a continuation of that - thinking of more ideas - bouncing on the bed, sneaking out of it, clambering back in, having hot chocolate in bed - eating a chocolate biscuit in bed, hiding under the covers, reading and writing lying on the bed etc.
This is an organic, unbleached cotton tea towel that beautifully displays the Mice Pies and their antics.
Alice drew each of these using ink and then watercolour.
It measures approximately 48 x 76 cm / 19 x 29 inches.
Recommended washing temperature 30 degrees centigrade.
